- 12 oz chocolate, chopped finely or as chips
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp vanilla
Stove:
- Heat the cream, butter and vanilla in a sauce pan until it starts to bubble.
- Pour the cream over the chocolate and mix until smooth
Microwave:
- Put all the ingredients into a microwave safe bowl
- Heat for 30 seconds, and mix
- Heat for another 30 seconds, mix vigourously until smooth
- If its still not totally melted and mixed, heat in 10 second increments, mixing between.
Use the ganache to make truffles or pour over a cake or other desserts.
