This ticket is to track implementation of a minimal metadata template to enable submission of microarray data, currently expected from the HTAN PCAPP atlas (additional context: https://sagebionetworks.jira.com/browse/HTAN-434). @Gibbsdavidl is currently coordinating discussions with the center on this.

This is expected to be performed as part of the 24-5 sprint (May 2024). The HTAN DCC will be performing a soft lock of the HTAN Data Model as of June 1, 2024, after which no new components (i.e. data types) will be added to the data model.

If we can complete these changes, we will aim to include this in our next release planned for the first week of June.
