Same question here, the latest code even has a import error. I am learning recommendation system recently, I want to write some code based on this.

sudo pip install -U crab - installs this package "https://pypi.python.org/pypi/crab"

The project is dead folks, just get used to another platform or commit a new version of Crab!

I maintain https://github.com/lyst/lightfm so naturally I'd recommend that! It has learning-to-rank (BPR, WARP), hybrid recommendations (user and item features), and multicore training.
