Non-Steam Deck systems requrie deck (?) #503
Comments
@mithusingh32 did you click no or cancel at that point? Should still be able to use NSL without decky or its plugin. Just so you know the decky plugin version of NSL was removed from their store recently. |
Nope, I didn't touch it when it does it's thing. I'll keep an eye on it, but 3.9.6 worked. (I just read about that, what a crappy way they handled that.) |
@mithusingh32 ah I see OK that's helpful, it's probably some logic I need to fix in the new code, been busy lately but hopefully will push out a big update soon, I'm going to try to fix some of these plugin bugs. |
No worries, I can take a look when I get some time this week as well. |
I just tried installing NSL in a brand new steam deck. I get the same error about the Decky Loader not being detected. |
Try version 3.9.6, you'll get same error but the launchers will show up on steam. |
This is new to me (3.9.7) , I don't remember NSL asking for Deck or the plugin being required for a non-steam deck system:
I get that error, and the items selected aren't added to steam. However, the issue is not present in 3.9.6. The error still shows but items are still added to steam.
