We upload TIFFs for our book objects but we display them from a PDF datastream on the book-object (we do not use the IA Book Viewer). When I ingest a book object using the IMI, Islandora does a nice job of creating a PDF datastream for the pages, but not for the book as a whole.
I don't want to have to load each book object and manually force generation of PDF datastreams one-by-one.
So, as a workaround, I'm looking for a utility (if you know of one) that can trigger the creation of a PDF on book objects -- if I feed it a list of book-object PIDS.
Or, should I upload my own PDFs to get around this?
Thanks.
