In the startup ROS scene that asks the user to enter a participantID and the IP address of the ROS master node, the InputFields lose focus when your finger is lifted. So far I've only seen this on Android on a Nexus device.
The InputFields keep focus as long as your finger is on the field. The onscreen keyboard appears when the fields have focus and disappears when they don't, so if you tap the field in an attempt to get the keyboard, the keyboard flashes up briefly and disappears. You can get around this by touching the input field with the fingers on one hand, entering text on the onscreen keyboard with the other, and only lifting the first finger when you're done typing.
