I tried different approaches to include the section numbers.
I was trying to modify the .cls file without success.

I think it is possible to add by parameter in the YAML could be nice:

output: 
  vitae::awesomecv:
    pandoc_args: ["--lua-filter=cv/strong.lua"] 
    page_total: true
    number_sections: true   <==

Please could you provide some idea how to perform that? Thanks
