Hi, folks who are browsing the issues here should be aware that there is a much more up-to-date fork that's been under active maintenance by a team of folks for several years (long before this version was imported wholesale into Google Code), at https://github.com/RomanSixty/Feed-on-Feeds

It tries to keep up-to-date with the latest changes in PHP, MySQL, and SQLite, and also tries to keep deployment as simple and straightforward as possible. We've also added in a lot of useful stuff like WebSub support for push-based updates, image proxying for those sites that still have aggressive anti-hotlink measures, lazy-loading of images, and easier flows for subscribing to YouTube and Reddit content.

I would hope that there's some way to reconcile the diverged histories that took place outside of GitHub, and that the official documentation would at least acknowledge these efforts.

Thanks.
