There have been a few issues asking if the project is dead so I'm pinning an issue here on the matter:

simpleaichat is in active development, and it is not dead or abandoned. A low amount of new commits does not imply the project is not being maintained. Any breaking issues are fixed immediately and rapidly, and there haven't been issues upstream lately.

However, simpleaichat is designed to be simple, and will not add unnecessary features for the sake of adding unnecessary features like other AI projects do to show proof of relevancy.

The primary motivator for new features is from my personal experience and needs: that way I'm positive others will get value from it. I still encourage and appreciate suggestions and bug fixes! If you are unsure if a pull request would be a significant value-add, please file a GitHub Issue first.

Appreciate your coding philosophy.
