gallery-dl for twitter/x no longer working? every login gets rejected as suspicious.

I have both the config-file and the cookies-file, and i've tried entering login details for a few different Twitter-accounts both through gallery-dl.exe --u USER -p PASS123 "https://x.com/search?q=from:USER" and directly in the config-file. But both of them causes the error message of login rejected as suspicious. Does this mean that gallery-dl no longer works for Twitter or am i missing something?

Login attempts with username & password getting "rejected as suspicious" is a known problem, but browser cookies still work: https://github.com/mikf/gallery-dl?tab=readme-ov-file#cookies

If gallery-dl has the necessary cookies available, it does not attempt to login with username & password.
