Best way for changing select row icon in detail list

Hi, just wondering what is the best route for updating the color of the select row icon in a detail list, and if possible have this dynamic/parameter so this can updated when used within a pcf component in a canvas app. Ideally looking to make as many parameters as possible customizable to create a reusable detail list with sorting and filtering that can be reused in different apps with different themes. This defaults to purple currently.
