Peter,
Glad you are able to use the code. I haven’t worked on in a while. The main feature I haven’t been able to get working is sending Tx audio to the radio.

Dear Mark,
No issue but I wanted to thank you for sharing this code. There is much to learn from you.
I have made a fork and done a little work to make it work with an IC-705.
Best wishes,
Peter

Mark,
You’ll see that I’ve been working on tuning and have just implemented click to tune on the waterfall.
I thought I’d add a preferences window soon and perhaps build info about different rigs.
It looks like the spectrum sent by an IC-705 is smaller than the rig you built for.
I do see buffer underruns that I think you were looking at.
Not sure if what I’m doing would be of interest to you but of course your welcome to it.
There’s a few other forks but it doesn’t look like they’ve committed any changes.
Best wishes,
Peter

I want to double-down on the thank you. In working to decode/encode the data to/from my IC-705 I had found a few poorly documented programs with pointers to "use the source" where the source was also poorly documented. Your "background information" and re-telling of your discovery is, thus far, the best resource I have found for understanding the protocol and interaction. Thank You! |
