- 1 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 cup ice water
- 1/4 tsp. salt if you use unsalted butter, leave out if you use salted butter
- Cut butter into small cubes and place back in fridge for a bit
- Add flour and butter to a food processor and mix until it forms crumbs, you can also use a fork
- Dump mixture into a bowl and sprinkle very cold water into it a little at a time, mixing with a spatela or fork. Stop mixing and adding water when the dough just comes together.
- Form into a disc and refridgerate 1 hour.
