Overview of the Feature Request
Want a Notification to be created in the user's user profile that indicates the user has requested access to these files in this dataset.
So if the user requests access to 15 files from dataset A, the notification should be something like:
You have requested access to the following files from dataset A:
<filename 1>
<filename 2>
...
<filename 15>

What kind of user is the feature intended for?
(Example users roles: API User, Curator, Depositor, Guest, Superuser, Sysadmin)
API user
Regular User who requests access

What inspired the request?
Currently there is no Notification written to the User's notifications in their user profile.
There should be.

What existing behavior do you want changed?

Any brand new behavior do you want to add to Dataverse?
Add this new notification to the system.

Any related open or closed issues to this feature request?
