If you want your extension to appear in certain categories, you need to add topics to your GitHub repository (topics that does not contain "quarto").

Thanks for the pointer, I added slides and revealjs. Would you consider trimming quarto- from the tags and using the remaining tag as categories (discarding the quarto and quarto-extension tags, possibly others). Then quarto-slides and quarto-revealjs would show up as the bare slides and revealjs?
