How can i scale down a simulation containing only rail networks and trains.

I am trying to simulate a public transport passenger train network, with no cars or buses involved. i only have access to 10% travel survey from which i am able to create my demand side. therefore i need to scale my simulation to that size. i am having challenges with which parameter to change.

using PCE = 1/100

and PCE = 1

has giving me no difference, while the seat person remain constant.

Please have a look at this item: . The referenced paper should explain some issues with downsampling. If there is still something unclear, please let us know.
