Calculating occupancy/ridership of multimodal network

by Abdullah Binthunaiya on 2017-07-13 18:58:17

Hello,

I am running simulation over multimodal network during times from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM, and I want to calculate occupancy of every mode as a percentage of the total number of agents moving on the network during time intervals of every 5 minutes. Is there a quick way of doing such task?

I don't know multimodal very well.  In general, there are link enter and link leave events which tell you when vehicles enter and leave links, and there are person-enters/leaves-vehicle events which tell you when persons enter and leave vehicles.  That should allow you to reconstruct what you need.  Maybe not quick enough, but we always suggest to write your own events handler since otherwise you are never sure what someone else may have aggregated or not for you.
