I generated a network using networkEditor. However, when running the simulation in MATSim 0.8.1 I get the following error: Doctype 'network_v2.dtd" not known. Can anyone help me resolve this? I know the file exists on matsim website.

network_v2.dtd was added after MATSim 0.8.1 was released, so it is only supported in newer versions of MATSim (the upcoming 0.9 or the current development version). It seems that you are already use a newer version when using the networkEditor.

If you use the plugin for josm there is an option in the preferences that allows switching to v1 when writing out the network
