Translations not synchronised #673
Comments
This is NOT normal, but some new translations that came in after the 1.28 release broke
the builds, and I do not know how to fix this. I cannot really solo maintain MATE, and
there has not been much work from anyone else lately.
|
As of today, translations for at least Atril are no longer broken, so translation updates cam
return to releases unless test builds encounter more breakage

Hello @lukefromdc |
My online presence is restricted by not trusting any of the ad supported social media sites. There is
also the recent xz mess to consider, where the maintainer got into similar trouble and let in what
turned out to be a malicious party.
I am autistic and cannot vet people effectively. I do not have what it takes to reassemble a team
myself and do it safely.

What a pity for translators and end users :( |
Most fixes for this would be made at transifex not here. I don't know enough about it to work on
it myself without risking further breakage. Hopefully other team members will be back
|
Still getting this build error if I update translations by pulling from transifix:

Hi @lukefromdc @Mejans tzm is berber language from Morocco. I just asked to join the |
Someone on this end has to pull from transifex to update translations here.
Unfortunately, I know little about this process beyond how to pull updates,
and that broken translations need to be fixed at Transifex

Hello,
I saw there was a new version but no synchronisation with Transifex was made.
Is it normal?
Regards
