When starting up laptop battery charge monitor / battstat-applet should show in panel
Actual behaviour
When starting up laptop battery charge monitor / battstat-applet is invisible. This happens on different machines, Toshiba, Lenovo.
Steps to reproduce the behaviour
reboot laptop
MATE general version
MATE on MX19, Mint 19.3, Mint 20
Mint 20: Mate Desktop (1.24.0-2)
Package version
Mint 20: Mate Desktop (1.24.0-2), battstat-applet 1.24.0
Linux Distribution
MX19, Mint 19.3, Mint 20

Workarounds: After restart of machine in terminal type
gsettings set org.mate.panel.toplevel:/org/mate/panel/toplevels/top/ size 28
where size '28' has to be varied (e.g. '27' or '22'), this reloads panel which in turn makes battstat-applet visible again
