This repo should've been a fork of the original repo. But it ain't. Which means we can't track changes w/r/t the original, adapt our code to make it work in new versions, get bug fixes, easily upgrade to new Odoo versions, etc.

Figure out if it's still possible to reconnect this code to the original version it was copied from or maybe just fork the addon version that works with Odoo 17/16/15 and then apply our changes on top of that.
