The nudge bot is a tool that helps to keep code reviews on GitHub moving. It works by monitoring open pull requests (PRs) and detecting when they are blocked.
The Nudge Bot for Github has been inspired by the research paper titled Nudge: Accelerating Overdue Pull Requests toward Completion" available at https://dl.acm.org/doi/abs/10.1145/3544791. This implementation of the Nudge Bot does not yet use a prediction model to predict the PR lifetime as described in the paper. Instead, a fixed number is used as a proxy for the prediction model. This is a work in progress and will be made open source soon. The Nudge Bot will identify overdue pull requests and send automated nudges.
