I would like to include zonal section plots of ABIO_DIC14, comparable to nutrient sections. I think the best observational dataset is GLODAPv1.

These data are available here,
https://www.nodc.noaa.gov/ocads/oceans/glodap/GlopDV.html
though my recollection is there used to be netCDF files available...but those seem to have disappeared.

Fortunately, the data are available on disk at /glade/p/cesm/bgcwg/GLODAP
