Requested feature

When using the text tool, it should be possible to drag and drop the text to a different position before committing to it. If it's too difficult to let the user grab the text itself, a handle could be added at the top of the text popup similar to a window title bar.

Possible drawbacks

None

Possible alternatives

Delete the text and retry several times until you get it exactly where you want it.

Use case

When adding labels to an image, it's hard to know exactly where on the image to click because you don't know how much space the text is going to take until you type it out. The problem would be solved if you could type the text before positioning it.
