Significant FPS drop at high resolutions / framerates

Hi! I love this mod and wanted to say thank you for taking your time to develop it. Now for the bug report:

(I am running this mod alongside the Fabulously Optimized modpack)

However, I have noticed that when playing at 1440p/144fps that there seems to be an significant drop in FPS on the client (around 30fps).

I have isolated the issue and discovered it to be stemming from the client side of Fabric Seasons. This FPS drop is observable in places such as a forest biome during winter, or, for some reason, anywhere in the nether.

This is a minor issue that likely won't bother many people, but I wanted to report it nonetheless to see if anything can be done. Thank you for your time.
