If the chat history grows too long in one chat then the chat history cannot be saved for all the other chats too.

The solution could be to just keep the last N messages of each chat. Then older messages can be either discarded or stored with other archive mechanisms.

This is implemented as part of #384. The limit currently is 100 messages.
