Not currently. We are focusing on supporting models that the community wants to see. If you're referring to any popular model w/ an external API please let me know and I'll reach out.

If there's a strong desire for users to host their own models, it should be possible to hook the vscode frontend with a similar backend server to ours. Of course, the user would have to host their own server, but a basic local server should be simple to set up and upkeep.

If there's enough interest in this I'll work on this. Keeping this open in case there are other users interested.
