stopped displaying new facts

For quite a while now I always get the same fact and clicking on the refresh arrow does not bring up a new cat fact. I'm stuck on the following fact.

Cat facts was working just fine couple of months ago when I first installed it. Unfortunately, i cannot specify the exact period or circumstances when it stopped working. I already tried reinstalling without any effect. journalctl only logs the following

what do you think is the killer feature of vanilla os over elementaryos?

Do you still use vala/elementarysdk-based apps on vanilla os or something else?

abroot is probably its killer feature but also apx and the other components, the project is a bit weird compared to elementary os. We don't use vala/granite/etc.. we use Go/Py/the Vanilla OS SDK and GTK. Have a read for more details: https://vanillaos.org/blog
