Our documentation is detailed when you get deeper into brokers and such, but we're light on any sort of "getting started" information. Because of this, it's difficult for people to start using Herman.

We should have an easy process outlined for people who want to download Herman and start using it right away in their AWS accounts. The first steps to this would be to have a clear, easy to follow set of steps that describes what initial setup items are needed to get going with Herman in a new AWS account. This would include:

  • Information about the configuration bucket
  • What configuration items are needed
  • How credentials are handled
