OS-X has been renamed to MacOS since 2016, so this might confuse some newer Mac users. This is not accurate even though it is directly from AB3.

Team's Response

While Apple officially rebranded its operating system from "OS X" to "macOS" in 2016, these 2 names can be used interchangeably.

  • I disagree

Reason for disagreement: Your reasoning does not change the fact that OS-X is not a mainstream OS anymore, macOS is. A reader may not understand what it is, and think that the application cannot be used on the recent versions of macOS, which is clearly not the case. Also, readers do not necessarily know what the module policies and tP constraints are, as the DG can be read by anyone, not just people who have taken this module. Just because this was written inaccurately originally in AB3 does not mean that it should be left as it is.

Furthermore, similar bug reports in the past have accepted (example 1, example 2). Given that they were taking the same module with the same tP constraints, I do not see why this bug report should be rejected.
