  • You have read our FAQ
  • If you have used flutter. Please install correctly, run pub cache repair. Close the terminal and try again.
  • If you are on Windows. Make sure you are running the terminal as administrator or with developer permissions.
  • Run fvm doctor if possible and add the output to the issue.

Describe the bug

  • Related issue: [bug] Cannot update flutter sdk sidekick#280
  • Due to local changes (which is wrong -> I don't have any local changes to my Flutter SDK!) sidekick outputs that a flutter upgrade with fvm is not possible. But that seems to be an issue with fvm as @aguilaair mentioned in the mentioned issue above.

To Reproduce

  • Can't offer reliable reproduction steps, but it happened when I was in stable version 3.7.0 and wanted to upgrade to a higher version.

Expected behavior
Either fvm is throwing an error message or fails, or the underlying issue is getting solved.

Logs
Please provide the verbose logs by running --verbose after the command.

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: macOS Sequoia 15.2
  • FVM Version: 3.2.1

@leoafarias this is just a reminder and follow up issue, if you need this. Otherwise you can close it, if you just fixed it or is tracking this.
