When Rongpu did his search for outliers in dr9m/north, he turned up this one region that looks bad in DR9: https://www.legacysurvey.org/viewer-dev?ra=260.2919&dec=40.4595&layer=ls-dr9-north&zoom=13
It looks like that the r-band image is much noisier and has more fringing in DR9: https://www.legacysurvey.org/viewer-dev/ccd/ls-dr9-north/90prime-75220146-CCD3.xhtml?rect=2400,1659,100,100 compared to DR8: https://www.legacysurvey.org/viewer-dev/ccd/ls-dr8-north/90prime-75220146-CCD3.xhtml?rect=2402,1656,100,100
