This is a LEAP Data and Computation Team weekly standup 🎉🎉🎉!
This is a way to share feedback from the past cycle, set goals for the next work cycle and coordinate work with others in the group.

Each member should aim to put down 2-3 goals going into the meeting. We then try to discuss how to best align activities around the group to facilitate collaboration as much as possible.

• Just gave a talk at ESGF Webinar.
• Paper reviews

My goals for the two upcoming weeks 💪

• Roll out kbatch and user quotas (needs 2i2c input)
• Figure out single file recipe [WIP] Accomodate single file recipes pangeo-forge/pangeo-forge-recipes#783

Questions for the group ❓

• Thinking more and more about our PGF dependency. It is really frustrating to get stuck again and again. We need to find a more sustainable solution here.

• Christina and Oren reached out to me to overview the pangeo forge infrastructure (which I did).
• I shared some ideas/ ways it could be used in educational content

• Spent a lot of yesterday thinking about education uses.
• Learning to work with HPC

• I've been really bad about tying up loose ends maintenance wise. Sorry!!

Questions for the group ❓

• Dataset viewer is super buggy, I remember it working better before? I know not being supported by carbon plan but is there any scope for making the existing functionality... more functional?
