To provide you with something useful, the nation data blocks in the executable are now 1748 bytes and the IDs go from 0 to 111. At least in dom4, after the base filename there are 4 unknown bytes followed by 6 floats. The floats are two sets of RGB colors, first the main color and then the secondary color, stored as multipliers of 255. Presumably this is a graphics API convenience. I'm not sure if it's still true for dom5, however I would assume so.
These are used to draw the score graphs and color in the flag parts when assembling core nation flags. I can go into more detail on how the flags are constructed if you care, I've reversed the method for use in snek.earth, a server hosting platform.
I've been trying to reach you regarding some of the things I've dug up, like the primary/secondary color thing. Are you on any of the dominions-related discords? Months ago I also tried to add you on steam, my profile is https://steamcommunity.com/id/vuonojenmustaturska/

Thanks for the info. I do plan on updating the Dominions data browser after
dom5 comes out. I'm hoping the data will be structured similar to dom4
(knowing Illwinter it will be). I am going to have to re-write some of it
as I didn't do the nation/spell parsing. But, I don't think it will be too
hard to do.
Good job on snek.earth, I've checked it out before as I heard about it on
SA. I don't really use any of the dominions discords, I have logged into
the goon dominions discord occasionally.
