Hello, I’m hoping to add Date of Test (DOT) information to the database. It appears to be already tracked in 39 of the existing datasets, and I will be reaching out to the contributors of the remaining datasets to see if they would be willing to share.
This xls (dot_columns.xls) contains a list of raw data files that seem to have DOT already, along with the column name (with na’s for missing info).
After compiling, I noticed that this might already be tracked in the _fields files. However, I’m unsure if the date format (mdy vs dmy, etc.) is currently tracked in the database. Could someone confirm? I will make sure to track that for additional DOT, and I am happy to pull that together for the existing DOT info if needed.
I’m expecting to collect additional DOT info in either a set of ID-DOT matched values per dataset, or a date range for the entire set (depending on contributor preference). Is there anything that would make integrating these simpler/more straightforward?
Thanks, this database is super neat, and I’m looking forward to contributing.
