Since the person that takes care of updating the website may change, it might be helpful to write a good manual of the website maintenance.
Maybe a bit like the readme currently on the metalab2 repo, but something that is slightly better organized, which explains when each of those items applies or not, and what to do in specific frequent situations encountered with the website:

  • the website isn't updated
  • visualizations don't appear
  • ...

I'll start going through the code base tomorrow and start documenting what everything does. I'm going to focus on the visualization app for right now before moving on to the others. From there I'll have a better feel for everything and can start putting together some common fixes for problems. If you have anything you would like me to focus on or if there's an area that I should pay extra attention to just let me know.
