Can't unmute tabs

After muting a tab, it switches to "No Sound" after a couple seconds, so I can' unmute it using Sound Control. I can still switch to the tab and unmute it manually using the tab icon. Doing this results in Sound Contorl recognizing it again, and I can mute again with Sound Control. Having to manually unmute defeats the purpose of having a central control.

Thanks, and sorry for the slow response. It came up when I was trying to stream some sports, but I also tested it on Youtube and Vimeo and had issues.
