Everything is in the title, do you plan to release a MacOS version of your addon ?

I tested on Windows, it is working well, so I hope to see it on MacOS too !

It is possible, as long as compilation using platformio/native works on macOS. That being said, it is not a plan for the nearest future, as I don't have access to a macOS system to test it on.

What would the process be for one to test this out in MacOS? I have a Macbook Pro and would love to use this extension on it, even if that means tinkering with building it myself.

See the branch feature/linux-support - that's what had to be done to make it work on Linux. Since I've improved a few things there already, even less work should be needed for macOS.

Any update on this please? It'll be much appreciated.
I can help test if needed, thanks

it may not be necessary to have a real mac, at least to develop/compile, there is a nice project allowing to run a macos virtual machine in docker : https://github.com/sickcodes/Docker-OSX
I tried to compile the project on my mac, but I lack the system programming knowledge to pull it off... ( Am willing to test though)
best whishes
