See subject... I have a bunch of Cambium "cnPilot" wifi APs, and it would be nice to be able to script some changes. (They are eventually going to get managed by Cambium's own cloud portal, cnMaestro, but prior to that we need to make a mass change or two.)
Outside of "cnPilot," the "ePMP" range of equipment is very popular among WISPs, but I would not be at all surprised to find that their CLI behavior is different (my employer is a WISP but doesn't actually have any Cambium outdoor gear so I don't know for sure). Cambium also has decent switches ("cnMatrix") that are "Cisco-esque" and it would be nice to have support for those as well...
Just wondering if anybody has a primer on developing a new "driver" for Netmiko beyond the link from Kirk above, and if this is something that a Python noob should attempt to tackle (in my copious free time /s) or if it's fraught with peril. 😉

I've seen Kirk's instructions on how to add a new "vendor," but my Python skills are... not great. (I've been through Kirk's free "Python for Network Engineers" course, and that's it.)
