So the filter feature could be implemented as an option or a configuration, which one is better?

I think add default configuration and search option will fully meet the demand, but maybe a bit complex to use. Just configuration first?

So there are multiple ways to filter an image:

Booru-series sites

  • Similarity matching of tags
  • Author
  • Rating (Safe, Questionable, Explicit, etc)
  • Furry, Guro, BL, etc

Pixiv

  • Is AI Generation
  • R18 / R18G
  • Similarity matching of tags
  • Author
  • Bookmarks count

Lolicon

  • Is AI Generation
  • R18 (differ to Pixiv's R18 standard)
  • Similarity matching of tags
  • Author

I would implement the basic support fur this in the configurations then release the v1.0.2 v1.0.3 v1.1.0 v1.2.0 v1.3.0 version.
