Legends are an essential part of non-trivial graphs. At a minimum, the legend should: display the labelled, correctly-colored symbol & line type used for each function plotted; should be (programatically) position-able to the left, right, top, or bottom of the graph (at a minimum); offer a bordered/no-bordered option; be able to be "un-displayed" without having to remove it from the graph altogether; and should automatically update w/ the function it is describing (e.g., if one changes the color, symbol, or line type of a function's display, then the corresponding legend component should automatically update to match). I consider this a very high priority on principle (not just because I need the feature).
