About Me

In 2022, I attained my Master of Science degree in Business Analytics. Since then, I have been using my data science skills (in data cleaning, exploratory analysis, and visualization) to help non-profit organizations with projects that aim to answer industry questions and drive positive societal or welfare-related impact. I am constantly learning and seeking to improve and apply my skills to impactful work that benefits people.

Technical skills: Python, Tableau, SQL, Excel, R, Google and Microsoft Suite, HTML (to customize this website)
Data-Related Platforms: Google Analytics, AirTable, AWS RedShift via Python, Data.World, Deepnote, Microsoft SQL Server, BrandWatch, Infegy

My Background

Prior to getting into the data analytics field, I interned and worked in various industries (education, tourism, and consulting) as a marketer: executing (competitive) research, promotional material design, website maintenance and design, social media copywriting, and devising outreach and social media strategies (by analyzing metrics). As I worked in these roles, however, I felt a deep need to be able to better analyze data to back up creative decisions – not just relying on my intuition and limited mental capacity to draw critical insights from open data or articles I searched up. This prompted me to enroll in a Business Analytics MS program in 2020, which started me on a journey I never imagined.

Since then, I have worked on multiple data visualization, business analytics, and machine learning projects. During the past 2 years, I have applied my knowledge and skills in data analysis and marketing to advise management on improving data analysis efforts and operation/marketing strategies.
