Hi Rich,
I’d recommend examining the WAB 2.x Esri Select and Query widgets as they “kind of” do what my eQuery does.
I may or may not update it. I checked it back around WAB 2.0 or 2.1 and believe it should work okay but once I take the one site I am using it for to WAB 2.2 or higher, I’ll be verifying and/or correcting this.
The Flex widget interface was very slick, yes. I am not sure it will ever look exactly as the Flex one because making UI in Flash was just easier. With jQuery UI and Dojo it could be done but would probably require more time than it would be worth at least for our use.
If you have any questions on how to set up eQuery I will be happy to answer though!
Best,
Kevin

I am using version eQuery version 1.2
When will you be updating the widget to work as the old Flex widget did?

This is a potentially great widget.
Please do not under estimate the value or need for such a utility.
ESRI makes an attempt but is a little disconnected to their fan base!
People like me are old school and know how to use SQL.
The only reason GIS was created was to enable a person to ask a questions of it, query the data set and provide an answer.
Your widget did that “a true to form GIS function”……
Please consider finishing this widget like the flex widget.
I’m positive that many others feel the same.
Thank you for your time!
Rich

Rich,
I understand! By the way, are you going to the Dev Conf? I’ll consider this and may indeed I will keep at it. By the way you can do raw T-SQL in to my widget using more advanced syntax beyond the GUI as you may have already noted fyi.
Best,
Kevin

Thank You!
Well the Dev Conference would be nice, but our “Ohio” County Constituents would have a tizzy over the travel costs…
Look forward to hearing from you in the future.
