Hello,

First, I want to thank you for the tremendous work you've done to simplify working with TOUGH2—it’s been incredibly helpful.

I have a question regarding processing flow data more efficiently. Is there a way to speed up this process, specifically by locating the flow within a defined surface or between two specified materials?

Thank you very much for your assistance.

Hi @geowomen,

between two specified materials

I believe that the latest version of TOUGH3 (v1.11) has a ROFT block that directly writes flow outputs between two rocks ROCK1 and ROCK2 in a file called ROFT_ROCK1_ROCK2.csv. This file can be read with toughio.read_table() as any history file.
