Test automation for microservice #74
Comments
Spoke to @gecock , they are working with Steve Schader, Chris Regan and Kevin Smith about standing up a pool of open shift environments in a static pool that Kabanero can be built on top of for test framework purposes. The timeline for this is about a month out currently. |
Just to add some context, we're looking at having something in the way of an environment in a about a month. Even if we are able to hit that target, it most likely won't be pretty. A full test framework environment, given our current situation with personnel and experience, will be much longer. |

This isn't ready for consumption yet, but just FYI, here is the test repo where test cases will be stored: https://github.com/kabanero-io/kabanero-regression-testing This repo can be used in 2 ways:
For now, you can take a look at the format of the repo and feed back suggestions to @tomlinkusa . In addition, @smcclem is adding some pipelines tests to that repo, so he may have some thoughts. |
@davco01a - Keeping this issue in the backlog and moving it out of Kabanero release 0.9. |
Develop test automation framework, integrated with Travis, that will stand up an OKD cluster in a container and configure kabanero and the CLI microservice so that the CLI can invoke and test all of the microservice endpoints
