Images associated with product customisations

I'm building a site which involves products with a lot of variants/customisable options for each. This gem is perfect for implementing the customisation, however I need to associate images with each customisation so I can display an image of the particular combination of custom options on the views.
Are you considering on including the option of adding images in a feature at any point?
