According the documentation, "If you plan to run CTP as a Windows service or if you plan to use the Java Advanced Imaging ImageIO Tools (see below), then you must install the 32-bit Java, even on a 64-bit computer"

If I don't need to use ImageIO tools, I was wondering if there is a way to use CTP as a Windows service on 64-bits Java 1.8 to transfer TBs of data as fast as possible?

This does seem a bit curious. Perhaps the CTP could migrate to winsw instead for it's service executable?
