MQTT not working on RPI Adapter 2 and kernel 4.19.97+

Hi, I had the RPI Adapter V2 running with ttyebus on a zeropi running fine and then - unknowing the consequences - upgraded linux and realized that the old adapter will not work with new linux versions.

So I spend some time on downgrading (setting up old version from scratch), which is actually not trivial for rasperrypis.
Anyhow, I managed it, and my ebusd is running again and receiving data from the bus.
BUT I do not get MQTT to work.

I compiled ebusd from sources taking care that I have 'libmosquitto-dev' on my system.

Unfortunately I cannot find any helpful error in log files.

So my ebusd config is:

I do have mosquitto running on another RaspberryPi but there no ebusd MQTT client appears.

Any hint what I do miss, what could be wrong?

So, still I cannot tell what was wrong.

I did the installation again on another SD Card, this time I added next to libmosquitto-dev also mosquitto.
And now also MQTT is doing what it should do.

So I am closing this discussion.
