Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Extension does not work at all on Linux.

Describe the solution you'd like
It would be great if we could at least get syntax highlighting.

Describe alternatives you've ~~considered~~ employed
Writing 1000 lines of papyrus with a plain text editor.

Additional context
.NET 6/7/8 binaries should run on Linux natively, fwiw.
