The vs code popup in conjunction with the guide on how to get the debugger working together create some confusion as to what/which mod manager/s will actually work with the debugger.
The popup states the plugin has been installed "to Mod Manager Directory", and then "don't forget to enable it in the mod manager!"
The point of confusion being there are mod managers actually named Mod Manager, and there there are mod managers, the phenomenon. I don't know if Vortex supports it. There is also nothing to enable or disable in Vortex, but a folder was indeed created in Data and the dll is inside of it.
A trial and error approach at this point could be endless if there simply is no support for Vortex and the popup was actually talking about "Mod Manager" by name, the application, not the phenomenon.
Describe the solution you'd like
So the suggestion is to simply type the information out in the guide and include it in the popup.
Something like: "The Papyrus Language extension provides a runtime debugger for Skyrim Special Edition and Fallout 4 which will display live diagnostics on executing scripts and some game information when launched through your mod manager." or "...when launched through Skyrim Mod Manager or Fallout 4 Mod Manager (other managers not supported)."
And to simply skip the sentence-casing of "Mod Manager" in the popup.
Describe alternatives you've considered
I have considered simply trial-and-erroring to see if I can make it work. It could be an endless pursiut.
